Ishq-e-Hussain A.S. – A new film produced by www.kauthartv.com. This movie is a saga of enthusiasm to sacrifice for the sake of Imam Hussain a.s. It portrays the life of a poor man – Abbas – vibrating with the love of Imam a.s. His zeal to reach Karbala for Ziarat of Imam Hussain a.s. His will to overcome all difficulties and extend all sacrifices in order to reach Karbala.
Abbas is seen trying to remove all hurdles in the path to Karbala. He remembers the days when believers of Imam Hussain a.s. used to get their hands cut in order to reach Karbala. He too tries to sacrifice an organ of his body – his Kidney – so as to reach his beloved destination. How then does the story take a turn and how does the loving Imam a.s. shower his blessings on Abbas? Does he give his kidney? Can he go to Karbala? the purpose of the sacrifice of imam Husayn (as) was to save the religion of the holy prophet (saw) and keep the principles of islam alive. The lady actor in this movie does not wear hijab. This defies the purpose of the mission of imam husayn(as).
Let us not be emotional and overlook the obligatory laws of islam.a movie encouraging the ziyarah of imam husayn (as) is wonderful but we must remember that out imam wants us to be practicing shias more than anything.
